1. Use of the App

PriceIt is an AI-powered price scanning application. By using it, you agree to:

• Eligibility: Use the app only if you are at least 13 years of age. If you are under 18, you must have parental or guardian consent.
• Lawful Use: Use PriceIt only for lawful purposes and in a manner consistent with all applicable local, national, and international laws and regulations.
• Account Responsibility: Keep your account credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
• No Misuse: Not attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or otherwise extract the source code of the app or its underlying AI models.

2. AI-Generated Price Estimates

PriceIt uses the Google Gemini API to analyze images and generate price estimates. You acknowledge and agree that:

• Informational Only: All price estimates provided by PriceIt are for informational purposes only and do not constitute a guarantee, warranty, or binding quote of any kind.
• Accuracy: Prices may vary significantly based on location, market conditions, product condition, and seller. PriceIt does not guarantee the accuracy or completeness of any price estimate.
• No Financial Advice: Nothing in this app constitutes financial, commercial, or investment advice. You should independently verify prices before making any purchasing or selling decisions.

3. Intellectual Property

• Ownership: All content, design, code, branding, and materials within PriceIt are the intellectual property of PriceIt and are protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws.
• Limited License: We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app for personal, non-commercial purposes only.
• User Content: By scanning images through the app, you grant PriceIt a limited license to process those images solely for the purpose of generating price estimates. We do not claim ownership of your images.

4. Third-Party Services

PriceIt integrates with third-party services to deliver its features:

• Google Gemini API: Used for AI-powered image analysis and price estimation. Your use of PriceIt is subject to Google's Terms of Service.
• Google Sign-In: Used for authentication. Your use of Google Sign-In is subject to Google's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
• Clerk: Used for user authentication and account management. Subject to Clerk's Terms of Service.
• No Endorsement: PriceIt is not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of any third-party services.

5. Prohibited Activities

You agree not to use PriceIt to:

• Upload or scan images that are illegal, obscene, or infringe on third-party rights.
• Attempt to overload, disrupt, or interfere with the app or its infrastructure.
• Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to access or scrape data from the app without prior written consent.
• Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity.
• Use the app for any commercial resale purpose, including reselling price data or building competing products based on our output.

6. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

• As-Is Basis: PriceIt is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement.
• No Liability: To the maximum extent permitted by law, PriceIt and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the app.
• Service Availability: We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation of the app. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the service at any time without notice.

7. Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to PriceIt at our sole discretion, without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms and Conditions or engaged in any fraudulent, abusive, or harmful activity.

You may delete your account at any time from within the app. Upon deletion, your account data will be removed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

8. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Nigeria.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the updated terms within the app or on this page. Your continued use of PriceIt after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.
